Refreshing weekend

Well so far the weekend proved to be refreshing and relaxing for once. I did lots of yoga stretching, pilates and walking with my dog. Got the rest and sleep that I so needed.

Saturday I stayed in bed most of the day and watched Ghost Hunters and other spooky shows.lol I spoke to mom for a bit. I miss her.... I don't get to see her as much since I have been staying in the DC area. My mom is a very strong woman...as with most kids and parents...we do have our differences but she has never let me down and has always been there when I needed her...As well as my older sis! They have been my support system in my tough times and celebrate with me in my good times and in the time of my successes... I love them both dearly.

Saturday evening, I took a stroll through Old Town and enjoyed the sights. Stopped in a few shops on the waterfront and saw some really beautiful wooden furniture that cost a fortune but yet they'd be great additions to my future home. Sometimes you gotta just think ahead for planning purposes ;) The weather was gorgeous and there were many street vendors and performance on the waterfront... I was taking it all in...the sights, smells of all types of food in the air...sounds of guitars and saxophones being played by performers on the street. Absolutely fabulous evening.

Today I woke up early, lit my incense and did my stretching as usual. I feel so refreshed it's amazing. My plans for today are pretty much to do laundry and clean up a bit. Not much since I am a neat freak anyway.lol Just purchased some more pHion Alkaline Green Drink Powder. This is such a yummy drink... While I do prefer and recommend juicing for green drinks, I must be honest about my time and schedule. I don't always have time to juice so I do go between jucing and the powder that I can just add to water and go. It makes life so much easier and that way there is less of a chance that I will miss my servings of my green drink. ;)

Sometime this afternoon, I do plan on hitting the steam room and giving myself a detoxifying facial. I definitely will be getting a manicure and a spa pedicure by my favorite spa person at Four Season Nail Salon and Spa. I am a regular patron there and I love the way they are so friendly and treat you like family. You almost feel like you have known them personally for years :) They do take great care of you, and have a personal interest in their customers! Ooooh I cant wait!

Anyway, today I will be working on some of my writing projects so I will end this blog here so I can get to it!

Ciao Loves!!
